Our proximity to Belmont High School has helped us to develop a strong relationship with our colleagues next door. In recent years we have worked closely with the staff at Belmont High School to facilitate literacy and numeracy programs, and have close links through our strong focus on science and stem education.
Our other neighbours, the BioLAB have also helped to shape our focus on science and stem education. We have been fortunate to have a close partnership with them, and continue to share a mutual passion for learning in science.
We have a strong relationship with Deakin University, especially in the School of Education, Science. We are currently involved in a project analysing the development of students in mathematics and science over a long period. Every year we host the Deakin University pre-service teachers who work closely with our students to develop their understanding of science.
